Rabbi Aron Leib Steinman (1914-2017) was a highly respected Orthodox Jewish leader and scholar. Born in Belarus, he moved to Israel in 1944 and became one of the foremost spiritual leaders of his generation. For over 50 years Rabbi Steinman, served as the Rosh Yeshiva of the Ponovezh high school in Bnei Brak, Israel, where he influenced thousands of youth. Jews from all over the world flocked to his simple apartment for guidance and blessings or merely to behold his lofty countenance.
